Sometimes the negative energies of others' can really get me down. 

I'm thankful that i've found a way to sheild myself from

that unwanted energy

and send love back

in its stead.

I usually sleep in... very late.  My husband gets up early, early, at 6:30.  One of my resolutions for this new year is to start getting up when he does... so i did this morning.  So far i feel really good, (but i think i'll have to nap at some point).  I know i'm going to feel better because i'll have more time in my day.  I've also resolved  to develope a healthier diet and excercise more often.  And of course try to grow spiritually with each passing day, season, and year.

HI, I'm Andrea, pronounced ann dree uh, not On dree uh, and i'm new to CovenSpace and fairly new on my path. 

A little about me:

I just turned 26 on October 27.  I'm a writer and a poet and a lover of the arts.  I love Art History and World History... i'm very drawn to the Humanities. I'm also getting more into Science and Physics and how it all ties into Spirituality, (generic term, i know), ... the way its All connected.  I'm also a Feminist. I've been married to my Beautiful Husband for a little over 5 years now.  We have two cats: Gretchen: a big, white fattie, and Seymour: a little piano key-colored cat.  We are both students on a break from college right now.  I hope to start back not this coming spring, but the next, and finally earn my degrees in English and Visual Arts.  I want to be a writer and maybe teach as well as own my own boutique.  I love to write, read, knit, and sometimes sew.  I can't wait for next summer when we finally move out of our apartment and into our own house with a yard so i can start my garden! White Oleander; Siddhartha; Memoirs of a Giesha; The Good Earth; The Bell Jar; Ghost World; The Secret Garden; Rip Van Winkle; The Legend of Sleepy Hollow; i like most anything by Nathaniel Hawthorn; Harry Potter; The Visitation; i like Beat writers and poets; Piece by Piece by Tori Amos and Anne Powers; Girl, Interrupted; The Virgin Suicides; Hunter S. Thompson; Catherine, Called Birdy; I could go on and on and on when it comes to books and literature... so i'll stop now.  I'm not really into many mainstream Hollywood movies. I like Independant Films.  A few of my favorite movies are Amelie; Everything is Illuminated; Girl, Interrupted; Ghost World; The Royal Tennenbaums; Trainspotting; Waking Life; ...

Path:

I'm pretty eclectic.  I'm into Kitchen Witchery and Garden Witchery... Herbalism... Gnostic Wisdom, The Teachings of Christ, Buddhism, Hinduism...  I'm interested in learning more about Sophian Gnosticism,...  I'll adopt whatever feels right for me.
